2022 Speaker

Mira C Skadgaard
Mira is a researcher, educator, consultant, and Assistant Professor at the Department of Culture and Learning, Aalborg University, Copenhagen.
Her focus is on inequality, equity, equal opportunities, and diversity in everyday and organisational contexts. This includes, in particular, subtle forms of discrimination and bias (such as structural, hidden and unintentional), as well as what we can do to address inequality at an individual, organisational, and institutional level.

Her international background, education, and over 20 years of academic and consultancy experience result in a unique perspective and skills for equality and equity work. She draws on a critical, research-based approach that is particularly useful in the Danish context, where these issues can be difficult and uncomfortable.
