🪴 At ProWoc, we believe growth does not happen by accident.
Growth and transformation are intentional and happen by design.
🎯 In today’s fast-moving world, consistently sharpening your capabilities and expanding your competencies are not optional. They are necessary for future-proofing your career.
The World Economic Forum predicts that by 2027, 44% of core skills will be disrupted, meaning the skills currently in use will be less relevant and new skills will be required.
The pace at which LinkedIn members add new skills to their profile has increased by 140% since 2022, indicating a strong desire for upskilling.
And companies that offer ongoing skill development are 7.2x more likely to engage and retain employees.
The reality is that if you stop learning, you risk falling behind.
If you commit to growth as an individual and organisation, you position yourself ahead of change.
💡 Here are four thing you can do to intentionally upskill and reskill:
1️⃣ Create a skills roadmap. List 2-3 skills you want to develop in the next 3 – 6 months (e.g., data-analysis basics, prompt-engineering for AI tools, leadership communication).
2️⃣ Schedule and keep regular learning slots. Even 30 minutes per week adds up.
3️⃣ Mix technical and durable skills, i.e. pair a tech skill (e.g., cloud, AI) with a human/durable one (e.g., adaptability, influence).
4️⃣ Use micro-learning and real-world practice. For example mix short courses, on-the-job projects, and peer-learning circles to help retention.
At ProWoc, we champion a continuous-learning mindset because we know it drives career growth, future-proofs your skills, and elevates your contribution.
Are you ready to hone your skills?
