ProWoc Wellness Event: Come Dance with Julienne Doko!

ProWoC is proud to present to you a dance event with renowned dancer and choreographer, Julienne Doko, considered to be one of the emerging voices in the Danish dance scene.

Julienne’s dance genre is unique blend of contemporary dance, hip hop, and street dance and is known for its energy, movement, and emotional depth. Her inspiration for combining these different styles of dance comes from her desire to create movement that reflects the diversity of modern culture. In this blend, contemporary dance explores fluidity and expression, hip hop brings in rhythm and flow, and street dance connects the energy and vitality of urban life. By bringing these elements together, Julienne creates dance that is both dynamic and meaningful, capturing the essence of contemporary society in a way that is both beautiful and thought-provoking.Join us for an evening movement, rhythm and great vibes!

Please dress in comfortable/sporty clothing, bring along a bottle of water and a small towel. Feel free to start coming from 17h00, so that we start the dance session at 17h30 promptly.

This event is free for members and cost DKK100 for non-members.

 About Julienne

Julienne Doko is a dance performer, teacher and choreographer with roots in France and Central African Republic, and based in Denmark. Julienne has performed internationally with a number of companies, at festivals, on TV shows and in musicals. She has also produced several dance videos that were selected for international dance film festivals.
