Professional Women of Colour (ProWoc) and the Professional Women’s Network (PWN) Copenhagen would like to invite you to celebrate International Women’s Day by joining our event on Wednesday 8th of March 2023. Following this year’s UN Women’s theme “DigitALL: Innovation and Technology for Gender Equality”; our goal is to spotlight women in STEM by engaging in discussions on how to best increase the share of women within STEM in the Danish labour market.

We are excited to have Mette Louise Kaagaard, General Manager/CEO, Microsoft Denmark and Iceland as our keynote speaker. Being a champion of diversity and inclusion, Mette Kaagaard will share reflections from her intersection between technology, innovation and business leadership. The event will also include a robust panel discussion highlighting the under-representation of women in STEM, and equally how to attract, retain and promote women in STEM.

Our esteemed panel of industry experts including Anne Meyer, Cloud Strategy & Transformation Partner at Deloitte, Alyson Dalby, Head of Data Management Centre of Excellence at Novo Nordisk, Dr Husmita Ratanjee-Vanmali PhD, Head of Audiology at Audika Global, Demant and Luis Alberto Rodriguez, Engagement Manager, Technology Consulting EMEA at IQVIA.

Keynote Speaker

Mette Louise Kaagaard is General Manager/CEO, Microsoft Denmark and Iceland has more than 20 years of experience in management, digitization and technology. In addition to working in the consulting industry at Accenture and Deloitte, Mette Kaagaard has worked with software, platforms and IT infrastructure – e.g. as Executive Vice President at KMD, Managing Director at Conscia and CIO at Egmont.


 

Anne Meyer, Cloud Strategy & Transformation Partner, Deloitte 

Anne Meyer heads up the Cloud Strategy & Transformation capabilities at Deloitte Denmark and leads the firm’s efforts with the consumer industry. With the world as her playground, Anne brings new perspectives to the consumer industry, drawing on her tech-heavy experience and strong commercial mindset. As such, Anne specializes in helping companies reap value from cloud platforms when they have a strong focus on their business strategy and followed by evaluating how this can be supported by a digital transformation. She holds a degree in finance and accounting, and has a proven track record in the world of consultancy, having also worked in EY, Accenture, and Implement. Increasingly, her fascination with extensive digital transformation processes from designing to scoping and selling encompassed her, which previously also led to a leadership position at Microsoft.


 

Alyson Dalby, Head of Data Management Centre of Excellence, Novo Nordisk

Alyson Dalby started her career in libraries and information management in her hometown of Sydney, Australia, and spent 15 years in corporate and academic environments, leading projects and teams, as well as actively engaging with the wider library profession. On moving to Denmark in 2015 Alyson took a career shift into data management in the pharmaceutical industry. She spent five years leading teams in regulatory data management in LEO Pharma, and moved to Novo Nordisk in 2021, where she is Head of the Data Management Centre of Excellence. This department drives the adoption of modern cloud-based data management infrastructure across the organization, and contributes to increased innovation and improvements in patient outcomes.


 

Dr Husmita Ratanjee-Vanmali, Ph.D Audiology, Head of Audiology at Audika Global, Demant

Dr Husmita Ratanjee-Vanmali’s career ambition is to assist more people hear better by applying person-centred care principles. She has attained her PhD in Audiology, specializing in hybrid hearing care delivery models. Her experience in Denmark, Canada and South Africa, has provided her with the opportunity to experience various roles including clinical audiologist, researcher and product trainer in hearing solutions which includes hearing aids including connectivity technology. She currently holds the role of Head of Audiology at Demant, Hearing Care group with focus on establishing and implementing global clinical best practices.


 

Luis Alberto Rodriguez, Engagement Manager, Technology Consulting EMEA

Luis Rodriguez is a senior consultant with +11 years of experience sitting in the intersection of marketing strategy, innovation and emerging digital technologies. His expertise lies in helping companies within the life sciences industry to drive digital transformation and meaningful communication to improve patient outcomes. With a strong cross-cultural mindset, Luis has lived in Mexico, US, Canada, Germany and Denmark and is now based in Switzerland working at IQVIA, the leading global provider of advanced analytics, technology solutions, and clinical research services to the life sciences industry.
