SUMMARY:ProWoc Annual Wellness Event - Forest Walk and Fitness
DESCRIPTION:Recharge after the summer with a guided therapeutic forest walk facilitated by Annelise Goldstein followed by a light workout with fitness coach Abdouile. \nForest Therapy builds on the Japanese practice known as “Shinrin-yoku” (or in English\, Forest Bathing) which is the practice of spending time in forested areas for the purpose of enhancing health\, well-being\, and happiness. It is called “therapy” because spending time in nature invites healing interactions. \nIt is not a hike. The pace is slow and no longer than 500 meters. The walk lasts about one and a half hours and involves both moving\, standing still\, or sitting. \nAfter the walk\, fitness coach Abdouile will run a light fitness session where you get to move your body and reflect on your fitness goals. You’ll also get time to speak 1:1 about your fitness ambitions. Any ProWoc member interested in having Abdouile as their fitness trainer gets 10% discount. \nPlease wear comfortable shoes and sporty clothing appropriate for the weather and light exercise. You may also want to bring a bottle of water. \nBring a yoga mat or a blanket. DESCRIPTION:Join us for yet another wellness event by ProWoc! This time we bring you the sounds and flavours of Mumbai with an hour of beautiful and vibrant Bollywood dance moves hosted by Sruthi Surendran. \nBollywood dancing is a colourful\, dynamic and highly theatrical combing classical forms of dance including traditional Indian\, folk\, salsa and belly-dance. Because there are no strict rules to it\, Bollywood dancing is about finding your flow and freedom of expression. Come and reconnect with yourself in the form of dance! \nSruthi will be facilitating a 1 hour Bollywood dance class and will be bringing great moves\, music and great vibe! Hansen \nSruthi\, a Bioprocess Engineer originally from India moved to Denmark in 2014 to pursue a career within green energy and waste management technologies. In recent years she has been running strategic procurement and sustainability programs at Orsted and Chr. Hansen. Sruthi is also a sustainability content creator @greenbyhabit on Instagram.\nA trained Indian classical dancer\, Sruthi loves to dance and especially choreograph & perform Bollywood.
