DESCRIPTION:Challenging gender stereotypes to thrive in a male dominated STEM industry\nCharacteristic of ProConnect we will spotlight one of our members\, Ribka Balakrishnan who is a Mechanical Design Engineer at WSAudiology.\nRibka’s career success is nothing short of inspirational. With over 6 years experience in both corporate work and research and a deep understanding of material and manufacturing\, she has held positions in several global corporations like WSAudiology and Microsoft. She is also a DEI champion who advocates for the advancement and representation of women and girls in STEM\, the workplace\, and society overall. \nProWoc is privileged to bring Ribka to the stage to share her story\, how she successfully navigates a male dominated industry and strategies she has applied to stay ahead of the curve in her industry.
